Before the opening credits roll, we see a little kid at a toy store saying, "what a great toy store ... they even have the ninja turtles". The dad asks if that's what he wants for Christmas, and the kid replies that he'd rather have the Nancy doll.
Segment Two: Thanksgiving show
In addition to the Nancy Doll, NanceCo is also introducing other products, like Serious Putty, for parents that don't want their kids acting so silly. They discuss their Thanksgiving plans. Greg's family is going to have a bird, but not a Turkey. They're eating an Ostrich, but he expects the big kids to fight over the drum sticks. Nancy is also having their traditional family bird, but this year she's getting Extra Crispy instead of original.
Segment Three: "Teenage Mutant Ninja Head Coverings"
"The heroes on the hatshelf"
Segment Four: Daffo
It turns out that Bob Dylan was only pretending to be Daffo. This is the real Daffo, and the crew does "Daffo the Clown ... This is Your Life". Daffo is scared witless when the offscreen voice turns out to be Khaddafy ... and he's in the control room. In the filmed portion, Daffo's high school yearbook says it all. "Activities: Esperanto Club, Future Losers of America. Earl Holliman Fan Club. Excused from gym." Daffo's "Biography" pre-empts the regular shows on the Nancy Network: "Bowling for Green Cards", and Leonard Nimoy's "In search of ....".
Segment Five: The news
The news introduces an analyst, Harley O'Rock, to complement Cronkite's reporting.
Brian demonstrates death by overeating
Segment Seven: "Someone to watch over me"
The Gershwin song is heard over a video of a man who brings binoculars to a strip club.
