SHOW 17

Segment One: Cold Start

Before the opening credits roll, we see a little kid turning on his TV. The Abominable Showman comes on, and he says "oh, no, not the bomable showman. This sucks"

Segment Two: Nancy's "Hostess Job"

One TV reviewer has referred to Nancy as the "hostess" of the show, so the crew makes her serve peanuts and beverages. Since it is a short show, there is no time for full meal service. Nancy discusses her ratings, which were published in a local newspaper. They are terrible, but still higher than "Beyond Tomorrow". The crew pleads with the audience to watch "Beyond Tomorrow", in order to get Nancy to the cellar.

Segment Three: The Heavyweight Boxing Interviews

Nancy talks to the champion, Iron Mike, and the challenger Sugar Ray Milland. The champ is 63-0 and is training 18 hours per day. Sugar is 0-63-3-4 and has a different training routine. The Nancy Network will be carrying the fight live, between two of their regular shows, instead of the final commercial.

Segment Four: previews from the Nancy Network

Segment Five: Daffo

It turns out that Daffo is not a former Libyan State Clown at all, but is actually reclusive musical genius Bob Dylan, using the clown gimmick to avoid being mobbed by fans. As part of "Nancy's Underwear Quiz", a new feature, he has to drop his pants so the audience can see "boxers, briefs, or none".

Segment Six: Cronkite's Death

As Bob Dylan is dropping his pants, the show is interrupted by a special bulletin. Scoop Cronkite has died of Weisenheimer's disease, an affliction that only affects fictional comic characters that have ceased to be funny.

Segment Seven: Wisconsin Corner

We missed Bob Dylan dropping his pants live. Nancy has a new special feature, "Wisconsin Corner" with "Van" Vandervanden. Van is out of work on disability. He got "Brat Lung", a disease affecting Wisconsinites ,caused by breathing in the fumes from grilled brats. The state has hired a fancy ad agency, hoping to increase Wisconsin tourism, and they produce a commercial with Paul Hogan throwing a bit more cheese on the Barbie.

Segment Eight: Lorenzo's World of Music

Viewers remind Nancy that if she really wants to promote Abominable Entertainment, she need to have magicians as well as her usual stable of mimes and clowns. She finds a really bad one.
