SHOW 12

Segment One: The execution of Nancy Bresser

Although Nancy Bresser survived Nancy's assassination attempt, Nancy is liberated from the law now that she is legally insane. She hires a crack Nicaraguan hit squad to kidnap Bresser and execute her. The execution is complicated by the fact that Bresser turned down a cigarette. Nicaraguan law forbids discrimination against non-smokers, so since Nancy offered an extra four minutes of life to a smoker, she must also do so to a non-smoker

Nancy offers Bresser several ways she can spend her last four minutes of life rather than smoking. Bresser chooses Don Ho, but nobody on the staff can "do" him. Bresser refuses to accept Bruce Lee or James Earl Jones, and a staffer is forced to impersonate Ho. After some bars of "Tiny Bubbles", Bresser elects death.

Segment Two: Commercial for "Johnson's Wax Philosophical"

"Make your arguments as clear as your glass tables"

Segment Three: Sugar Ray.

Sugar has decided to get back into boxing, to win a bout and ease the humiliation suffered by his young son, Nutrasweet Ray. Sugar is 40 and flabby, but has produced a workout tape for overweight smokers. Nancy asks if he's affraid of getting hurt, but Sugar responds that he isn't going to fight Tyson. "Only beginning boxers?", she queries. "No, nobody that hard. I thought I'd start against that guy who played Les Nessman on WKRP and if he doesn't hurt me too bad, I'll go on from there"

Segment Four: Pizza Hut Supreme Pizza

Spokesman: God. Supreme pizza for the supreme being.

Segment Five: Mr. Science.

Mr. Science comments on NBC's special on the physiological differences between black and white athletes.

Segment Six: "Crockett and Tubs"

The only store with both plumbing fixtures and coonskin caps.

Segment Seven: Daffo the clown

Daffo is still job hunting. He did two screen tests, as Patton and as Rick in Casablanca

  • As Patton, he uses a sweet voice and mild language, and wears his red nose. Nancy says that George C. Scott never wore a red nose, but Daffo wanted to bring his own stamp to the role. As for the language, Daffo disputes Nancy's point saying that he's watched every episode of "Eight is Enough" and van Patten never used any cuss words.
  • As Bogie, Daffo says "I don't have all the letters of transit, but I do have a big 'N'. That's one of the letters of 'transit', isn't it kids?"
  • Daffo even has a non-showbiz job while he awaits his break. But he even got gypped on that. He's working at a balloon store, and he got the worst job there. There are only three jobs: shaping balloons, blowing balloons, and selling ballons, and he got the blow job.

  • Segment Eight: Scoop Cronkite and the news

Nancy has insisted on writing her own news, which has all the stories confused. Lucy and the Ayatollah have both died, and Nancy reverses their obituaries.
